phishing scam

has been notified of a fraudulent email phishing scam. The subject line
of the email reads "Urgent Notification" and will display the exact
verbiage below:
"Dear
Customer,
VISA
Debit Cards Security Deartament suspended your account.
Reason: Fraud attempts
To
reactivate your account please call the total free number: 818-230-1183
VISA
Debit Cards will never solicit you to provide or update personal or
financial information.
And,
will never send an e-mail containing links to VISA Debit Cards Web
sites.

The number listed in
the email will prompt you for your card number, expiration date, and pin
in order to reactivate your card.
Always use caution
when giving out personal information. In this case DO NOT GIVE ANY
information and do not call the numbers listed above. As a general rule,
if you receive an e-mail from any company, bank or service provider that
asks you to input personal financial information or account numbers, DO
NOT RESPOND.
